ERRATUM
Erratum for Movshon et al., Visual Response Properties of Striate Cortical Neurons Projecting to Area MT in Macaques

Correction: In the article "Visual Response Properties of Striate Cortical Neurons Projecting to Area MT in Macaques," by J. Anthony Movshon and William T. Newsome, which appeared on pages 7733-7741 of the December 1, 1996 issue, the formulas given in the legend to Figure 6 were written incorrectly. The relevant part of the figure legend should read: To remove the influence of correlations between the predictions themselves, we calculated partial correlations Rp and Rc (for the pattern and component predictions) using the formulas:

where rc and rp are the simple correlations between the data and the component and pattern predictions, respectively, and rpc is the simple correlation between the predictions.
