A Novel Sorting Motif in the Glutamate Transporter Excitatory Amino Acid Transporter 3 Directs Its Targeting in Madin-Darby Canine Kidney Cells and Hippocampal Neurons
J. Neurosci. Cheng et al. 22 (24): 10643.

Supplemental Table

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Supplemental Table - Sequences of the mutant constructs with EAAT2 fused to C-terminal regions of EAAT3 and the subcellular localization of the mutants. The mutants with full-length EAAT2 (denoted in red) fused to regions from the C-terminus of EAAT3 (denoted in green) containing the sequence NGGFAV have apical localization. This result complements the finding that the substitution of residues with alanine of the following sequence disrupts the apical localization of the parent construct: KSYVNGGFAVD. Results are representative of at least 3 additional experiments in duplicate.
