  • - No gross morphological abnormalities in brain in Camkk2 null mice. Cresyl violet stains were performed on coronal brain section from one additional WT (A, B) and two mutant mice (C-F). The hippocampal morphology appeared normal in the mutants and there was no apparent loss of Purkinje cells (PC), in contrast with the observation of PC loss in one CaM kinase IV null mutant mouse line (Ribar et al., 2000).
