Panel A: Astrocytes were double labeled for Tyr-tubulin (red) and Glu-tubulin (green) and also viewed with the blue filters for tau. It is evident that there is no bleed over from the red and the green channels to the blue channel. Panel B: triple labeling of astrocytes for Tyr-tubulin (red), Glu-tubulin (green) and tau (blue) showing distinct pattern of distribution again demonstrating no bleed over from one channel to another.
