A Transgenic Marker for Newly Born Granule Cells in Dentate Gyrus
J. Neurosci. Overstreet et al. 24: 3251

Supplementary Figures

Supplementary Figures

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Supplementary Fig. 1 - Figure 1. EGFP expression in a postnatal day 14 mouse. Low-magnification image from a postnatal day 14 mouse shows a large number of EGFP-expressing granule cells and the mossy fiber pathway. Presumed migrating granule cells (asterisk) are also labeled in sections from immature mice.
  • Supplementary Fig. 2 - Figure 2. EGFP-positive cells express immature neuronal markers but not NeuN. a, Granule cells throughout the granule cell layer strongly express the mature marker NeuN (red). Single confocal sections illustrate that EGFP-labeled granule cells are either immunonegative or weakly positive for NeuN. In contrast, many EGFP-labeled cells strongly express the immature markers Tuc-4 (b) and TuJ1 (c).
