  • Supplementary Fig. 1 - Supplemental Figure 1. Cue training in the Morris water maze for all four experiments. Latencies are shown on the left of each graph, and cumulative distances to find the visible platform are shown on the right. A, B, Experiments 1 and 2 compared the performance of animals with PER or POR damage with that of CTL animals. In experiment 1 (A), cue learning was comparable in the POR and CTL groups, but the PER group was facilitated in cue learning, as indicated by shorter mean latency and shorter cumulative distance to the visible platform. However, this was not confirmed in experiment 2, in which perirhinal lesions were smaller. C, Experiment 3 examined the effects of perirhinal plus lateral entorhinal (PERLEA) or postrhinal plus medial entorhinal (PORMEA) lesions on the water maze. D, Experiment 4 examined the effects of combined perirhinal, postrhinal, and entorhinal (PH) lesions on the water maze. There were no group differences in cue learning for experiments 3 and 4. Data are mean ? SEM.
