Supplementary Figure 1. Effects of PKA inhibitors and ryanodine on the forskolin-induced synaptic potentiation. Drugs were bath-applied 20 min before forskolin (50 ?M) application. A, In the presence of H-89 (1 ?M), forskolin potentiated EPSCs by 368 ± 45% (n = 3). B, In the presence of KT5720 (1 ?M), forskolin potentiated EPSCs by 343 ± 99% (n = 3). C, In the presence of ryanodine (30 ?M), forskolin potentiated EPSCs by 295 ± 56% (n = 3). D, Forskolin-induced EPSC potentiation in the absence (control) and presence of H-89, KT5720, and ryanodine. There was no significant difference between control and in the presence of the drugs (p [mt] 0.5, two sample t test).
