Fibroblast Growth Factor Homologous Factor 2B: Association with Nav1.6 and Selective Colocalization at Nodes of Ranvier of Dorsal Root Axons

  • Supplemental Fig.1 - Supplementary Fig. 1. Expression of FHF2 at the nodes of Ranvier in dorsal sensory axons. Images of a section of the dorsal root immunolabeled with antibodies against FHF2 (green) and Caspr (blue) show FHF2 at the nodes of Ranvier in the dorsal root. Nodal regions were delineated by staining for Caspr, which is a marker for paranodes. In the sensory roots, 98.5% of the nodes were positive for FHF2, whereas in the motor root <1% of the nodes were positive. Analysis of the intensity of FHF2 staining in the sensory root showed no difference in intensity of FHF2 staining between small (<2 mm), medium (2-5 mm), and large (>5 mm) diameter nodes.
