Aging Results in Reduced Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Signaling, Diminished Olfactory Neurogenesis, and Deficits in Fine Olfactory Discrimination
J. Neurosci. Enwere et al. 24: 8354

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplementary Figure 1. Schematic of the olfactory discrimination generalization gradient task. Mice were water-deprived and housed individually for 48 hours before testing. They were provided freely with water for 15 minutes daily when testing extended for more than one day. The circles represent sterile Petri dishes that were presented to the animals. Solutions in the dishes consisted of either [+] or [–] solutions (described in the text). For each aspect of the generalization gradient, both training and testing stages were repeated with each new set of [+] and [–] solutions.
