SSH1L is expressed in chick retinal and DRG growth cones. SSH1L is expressed throughout the growth cones of both retina (A) and DRG (C). Arrows point to expression of SSH1L in filopodia. Growth cones were counterstained using Alexa568-conjugated phalloidin (B and D). There was no staining of growth cones in the absence of a primary antibody, if the preimmune serum was applied, or if the peptide antigen was mixed with the primary anti-SSH1L. Scale bar = 10µm.
