Complex Regulation of Spiral Ganglion Neuron Firing Patterns by Neurotrophin-3
J. Neurosci. Zhou et al. 25: 7558

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplement 1. Two complementary protocols were utilized for the application of 5ng/ml NT-3. The neurotrophin was either added to the media at the time that spiral ganglion neurons were isolated from the basal region of the cochlea (0 d), or was added to the media after 3 days in vitro (3 d). In each case neurons were exposed to NT-3 for the same period of time, 3 days, after which, electrophysiological evaluations were made (arrow). Matched controls were carried out for each condition.
