A Calcium Flux Is Required for Circadian Rhythm Generation in Mammalian Pacemaker Neurons
J. Neurosci. Lundkvist et al. 25: 7682

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Figure S1. Per1-luc bioluminescence recordings from three SCN explants represented by green, red and black traces. Recordings started in control medium and was replaced with medium containing 0 mM Ca2+ indicated by long arrow. The 0 mM Ca2+ medium was replaced with control medium after 12, 18 and 24 hr in 0 mM Ca2+, indicated by small arrows in green, red and black, respectively.
  • supplemental material - Figure S2. Per1-luc bioluminescence recordings from an SCN explant. The explant was cultured in medium containing 0 mM Ca2+ . After 18 hr, Forskolin (10 ?M) was added to the culture as indicated by arrow.
  • supplemental material - Figure S3. Per1-luc bioluminescence recordings from two SCN explants represented by red and black traces. The explants were cultured in control medium. On the third day in culture, either nimodipine (L-type Ca2+ channel blocker) and DMSO (0.3 %) was added, indicated by the arrow.
