Developmental Pluripotency of the Nuclei of Neurons in the Cerebral Cortex of Juvenile Mice
J. Neurosci. Osada et al. 25: 8368

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplementary data 1 Gross morphology of the brain from Cam/CAG (A, D), Nex/CAG (B, E), and Gad67 GFP knock-in (C, F) mice. Photographed in bright field (A-C) and fluorescence (D-F). Note the preferential expression of GFP fluorescence in the cerebral cortex of the Cam/CAG and Nex/CAG mice. The GFP signal is also detected in the cerebral cortex of Gad67 GFP knock-in mice. Bar equals 1 mm (D-F). G, FACS analyses of the GFP-expressing cells in the Cam/CAG mouse cerebral cortex. Cells in the window (blue) were sorted (upper panel). Cells with fluorescence (J area) were collected as donor cells (lower panel). H-K, Cells before (H) and after (I-K) sorting. Cells with GFP expression (green, arrows) and with no expression (arrow heads) were seen in H. After sorting, GFP- expressing cells were selectively observed. Cells from Cam/CAG mice at P14 (H, I) and Gad67 GFP knock-in mice at P20 (J, K). Images photographed in bright field (I), and fluorescence (K), and merged (H and J). Bar equals 10 µm.
