In the article "Unilateral Storage of Fear Memories by the Amygdala," by Hugh T. Blair, Virginia K. Huynh, Vanessa T. Vaz, John Van, Reekesh R. Patel, Amit K. Hiteshi, Jennie E. Lee, and Jason W. Tarple, which appeared on pages 4198-4205 of the April 20, 2005 issue, there were two errors in Figure 2. First, in the bar graph of Figure 2D, the bars for the CONTRA and BI groups were swapped and therefore appeared inconsistent with the data in Figure 2, B and C. (The authors would like to thank an astute reader, Shreejith Pillai, for bringing this error to their attention.) Second, in the bar graph of Figure 2C, the bars for the CONTRA group were slightly inaccurate because an outdated data file was imported into the graphing software and the final two rats of the CONTRA group were not included in the plotted means. These errors affected only the graphs and not the data analysis. The authors have reconfirmed all of the statistics reported in the paper and verified that they are correct. A corrected version of Figure 2, C and D, as well as the legend, is printed here.
