The solid black line is the average fraction of inter-cone separations within a particular distance value for 100 mosaics derived from the actual cone assignment probabilities verses that for the average of 100 random simulations. The red lines are the maximum and minimum bounds of the mosaics derived from actual probabilities, the dashed lines are the maximum and minimum bounds of the random simulations.
