Inhibition of Apoptosis by P2Y2 Receptor Activation: Novel Pathways for Neuronal Survival
J. Neurosci. Arthur et al. 26: 3798

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplemental Figure 1: ATPγS-mediated inhibition of serum-starvation-induced apoptosis does not require PKC or Ca2+ in PC12 cells. Serum-starved PC12 cells and were treated with 1然 Ro 31-8220 (PKC inhibitor) and 10然 ATPγS. Cells were analyzed for apoptosis by quantitation of DNA fragmentation (A). Serum-starved PC12 cells were treated with the calcium chelator 50然 BAPTA-AM and 10然 ATPγS. Cells were analyzed for apoptosis by quantitation of DNA fragmentation (A).
  • supplemental material - Supplemental Figure 2: Extracellular NGF concentration of DRG cultures is not increased by serum deprivation or ATPγS. DRG cultures were grown for 72h and then maintained with serum or serum-deprived for 12 h with no addition, 10然 histamine or 10然 ATPγS. NGF concentration in the media was measured by ELISA. **p<0.01 vs. serum-deprived with no addition.
