A Role for Synaptotagmin VII-Regulated Exocytosis of Lysosomes in Neurite Outgrowth from Primary Sympathetic Neurons
J. Neurosci. Arantes and Andrews 26: 4630

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplementary Figure 1. Neuronal loss over time is similar in Syt VII +/+ or Syt VII -/- dissociated SCG cultures. SCG ganglia were dissociated, cultured as described in Materials and Methods, and fixed at 1, 4 and 24 h. The number of neuronal cell bodies (identified by staining with DAPI and the specific markers Syt I or VAMP2) was determined in 10 microscopic fields at 200x magnification. The data represents the average and SD of triplicate determinations. At the three time points, there were no statistically significant differences between the density of Syt VII +/+ or Syt VII -/- neuronal cultures (1h: P= 0.858; 4h: P= 0.837; 24h: P= 0.389).
