  • supplemental material - Supplementary Figure 1. The predicted structure of the 3’UTR of syntaxin mRNA (excluding the region of the UAC repeats) contains double stranded stem-loop structures. The GENEQUEST program from DNAstar was used to generate the folding structure using two parameters: 18 Co and GU pairing only allowed inside the helices. The wild type form (A) and the 3’UTR minus CPE (B) have different folding patterns that may influence interaction with Staufen.
