Central Roles of the Roof Plate in Telencephalic Development and Holoprosencephaly
J. Neurosci. Cheng et al. 26: 7640

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplemental Table
  • supplemental material - Supplemental Figure 1. Summary of previous RP ablation studies (Currle et al., 2005). (A) Gdf7 genetic fate map (dorsal views, top is anterior). Gdf7 expression initiates in the forebrain RP, which includes a subset of telencephalic RP cells that contribute lineages to the small anterior tCPe and cortical hem domains rostral to the diencephalon. (B) Previous Gdf7-mediated ablations. ACTBCre;Gdf7DTA embryos display transient excessive cell death in the RP, which leads to Bmp mRNA reductions (Bmp4, Bmp6, Bmp7) and a largely nonautonomous failure to induce tCPe.
  • supplemental material - Supplemental Figure 2. qRT-PCR data, additional normalizations. Bar graphs: 18S normalizations of embryonic tissue data. Line graphs: 18S normalizations of CD1 cell data (top), CYPA normalizations of B6 cell data (middle), 18S normalizations of B6 cell data (bottom).
