Supplemental material GGA1 expression in human brain (A) Human brain lysates (temporal cortex) were loaded onto a 10-20% Tris-glycine gel under reducing and denaturing conditions and stained for GGA1. Box-and-whiskers plot of mRNA levels of GGA1 in temporal neocortex comparing AD (black box) and control (white box) brain standardized by Total RNA (B left panel). The ends of the whiskers show the position of the lowest and highest quantiles of the data whereas the edges and line in the center of the box show the upper and lower quartiles and the median. Each circle represents extreme outliers. Statistical analysis was done by Mann-Whitney U test.
