p25/Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 5 Induces Production and Intraneuronal Accumulation of Amyloid beta In Vivo
J. Neurosci. Cruz et al. 26: 10536

Supplemental data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Figure S1. APP and CTFs from WT and CK-p25 mice induced and non-induced for 2 weeks are similar, as revealed by immunoblot analyses of RIPA-soluble forebrain extracts.
  • supplemental material - Figure S2. Enhanced BACE1 and β-secretase processing of APP in p25 Tg mice induced for 5 weeks. Increased levels of BACE1 expression and C-terminal APP fragments was revealed by immunoblot analyses of RIPA-soluble forebrain extracts from 5 week induced CK-p25 mice as compared to WT controls. Full length APP levels were unchanged. Quantification of bands from WT (n=3) and CK-p25 Tg (n=4) mice was statistically significant by Student’s t-test (P<0.05) for both BACE1 and APP C-terminal fragments.
