Supplemental Figure 1. Necdin is preferentially associated with the cdc2 promoter in P19 cell-derived neurons. P19 cells were differentiated into neurons, and formalin cross-linked neuronal lysates (1 mg) were immunoprecipitated with antibodies to mouse E2F1 (MFE2F1), necdin, and control IgG as in Fig. 3D in the Results. The cdc2, DNA polymerase α (DNA pol α), cyclin A2, PCNA, and β-actin promoter sequences were amplified by PCR using input DNA (Input, 1/300) and total immunoprecipitated DNA (ChIP, 1/30). The primers for PCR used were: DNA polymerase α promoter (228 bp; forward: 5’-tcatcacagggcgccaaatgcactc-3’, reverse: 5’-ctccagtttacagtcctcttcgtgcat-3’), cyclin A2 promoter (173 bp; forward: 5’-tgtaagattcccgtcgggccttcgct-3’, reverse: 5’-aggcgggaggagcgtagagc-3’), and PCNA promoter (300 bp; forward: 5’-acttcctaaggatggaaactgcagccta-3’, reverse: 5’-ctacagcgacaactaccaaccctct-3’).
