Representative images of c-Fos immunoreactivity in the OB and PC from intact and SCNX animals (scale bar = 20 μm) and representative locomotor activity on double plotted actograms (right). Each actogram plots wheel revolutions per min with subsequent days plotted on line below. Sham or SCN lesions were made at CT4 (circle). For SCNX animals, the onsets of activity prior to the lesion were extrapolated linearly through the arrhythmic part of the recording to determine projected circadian times (e.g. asterisk represents projected CT12).
