Mice with Conditional Inactivation of Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor-2 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Have Normal Myelin But Display Dramatic Hyperactivity when Combined with Cnp1 Inactivation
J. Neurosci. Kaga et al. 26: 12339

Supplemental Data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplementary Fig. 1. Movie showing hyperactive behavior of FFCC mouse.
  • supplemental material - Supplementary Fig. 2 Oligodendrocyte differentiation and myelination in FFCC compared to FFC+ mouse brain. A. Parallel parasagittal sections from P16 forebrain of FFCC and FFC+ littermate mice were analyzed by immunohistochemistry for MBP (a,b) and MOG (c,d) as markers of myelinated fibers and by in situ hybridization for the OL marker PLP mRNA (e,f). Three to six sections each from two to four mice were analyzed from each group. CC, corpus callosum; CX, cortex. Scale bar, 200 μm. B. Quantification of the number of PLP mRNA+ cells that differentiated in the corpus callosum of control (FF++), FFCC and FFC+ mice. All PLP mRNA+ cells in the entire corpus callosum region were counted for each section. Four to ten sections each from two to four mice from each group were analyzed. No significant differences were found between FFCC and FFC+ mice. Error bars indicate SEM or mean of duplicates.
