Rhythmic Episodes of Subthreshold Membrane Potential Oscillations in the Rat Inferior Olive Nuclei In Vivo
J. Neurosci. Chorev et al. 27: 5043

Supplemental Data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplementary Figure 1: Classification of CS and SS of a single Purkinje cell A1&A2 A prolonged extra cellular recording from cerebellar cortex and its corresponding raster plot: simple spikes are marked in black and complex spikes in red. B. The sorted waveforms of simple (black) and complex (red) spikes. C. Principle Component Analysis (PCA) of the recoded spikes. These waveforms clearly form two separated clusters in the presentation of 2 off the 3 components; the points are clustered into two groups using the K-means algorithm. D. The ISI histogram of all detected spikes. We identified the recoded activity as a single unit if all ISIs were greater than 2 ms. E. Crosscorrelogram between complex and simple spikes. If the pause in simple spike activity was greater than 10 ms, we assumed that the unit is PC and that the CS and SS belonged to the same cell.
