Evidence That Long-Term Potentiation Occurs within Individual Hippocampal Synapses during Learning
J. Neurosci. Fedulov et al. 27: 8031

Supplemental Data

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • supplemental material - Supplemental Figure 1. Distributions of pCofilin- and PSD95-ir throughout CA1 stratum radiatum. (A-C) Widefield photomicrographs processed by restorative deconvolution of hippocampal sections from rat exposed to the unsupervised learning environment. Images show distributions of densely labeled pCofilin- (red, A), and PSD95- (green, B) immunoreactivity (merged in C). Labeled pCofilin elements are sparsely distributed in proximal CA1 stratum radiatum (sr) and stratum pyramidale (sp) compared to the dense distribution of synapses labeled by PSD95-ir. Calibration bar: 20 µm.
