Regarding the findings of Fuenzalida et al; in the interests of fairness I think it is reasonable to draw attention of readers to an earlier relevant paper published by myself and others (Lancaster et al, 2001). Figures 6, 7 and 8 of this earlier paper addressed the influence of the slow AHP conductance on synaptic potentials and summation.
