- supplemental material - Supplementary Fig. S1: Cell type-specific expression of the GFAP-Sox4 transgene in the cerebellum. Antibodies directed against B-FABP (A,B), GFAP (C,D), Sox10 (E,F), NeuN (G,H) as markers for specific cell types (all in red) were combined with antibodies directed against EGFP (in green) in co-immunohistochemistry on sections of transgenic cerebella at postnatal day 3 (A,C,E,G) and postnatal day 15 (B,D,F,H). The upper panels show the staining for the cell-type specific marker, the middle panels exhibit the corresponding EGFP staining, and the lower panels represent merged pictures. The scale bar in A is 25 m and valid for all images.
- supplemental material - Supplementary Fig. S2: Analysis of glial cells in cerebella of GFAP-Sox4 transgenic mice. Immunohistochemistry was performed on sections of wild-type (wt) and GFAP-Sox4 transgenic (tg) cerebella at postnatal day 3 (A-C), postnatal day 9 (D-F) and postnatal day 15 (G-I) using antibodies directed against the radial and Bergmann glia markers SoxB1 (A,D,G) and Sox9 (B,E,H) as well as the oligodendrocyte marker Sox10 (C,F,I). The scale bar in A is 50 m and valid for all images.
