The results are unusually suggestive of abnormal speeds. These abnormal speeds would be expected to dyscorrelate action potential events and therefore cause the schizophrenia-like symptoms. This dyscorrelation is detailed in my theory of the bipolar disorders.(Netwon, 1999) This hypothesis is supported by subsequent genetic linkage and association studies. Further studies of speeds will be very revealing.
