I noticed an article published in the Stem Cells 1-year before this one, which also generated a Nestin-/- mouse line and reported a contradictory phenotype:
Nestin Is Required for the Proper Self‐Renewal of Neural Stem Cells.

But I got confused about the role of Nestin during embryonic CNS development.
