About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover picture: Microglia in the postnatal day 7 (P7) cerebellum are labeled with anti-microglial response factor (MRF)-1 antibody (red). Green fluorescence results from staining with anti-vimentin antibody. Many of the microglia are distributed in the white matter and/or internal granular layer, in which cerebellar neurons and astrocytes undergo extensive apoptosis around P7. For details, see the article by Tanaka et al., in this issue (pages 6358-6369).
