About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover picture: A whole mount of a diaphragm muscle from an E18.5 mouse embryo, mutant for Src and Fyn, was stained with antibodies to neurofilaments to label axons, with antibodies to synaptophysin to label nerve terminals, and with Texas Red-conjugated alpha -bungarotoxin to label acetylcholine receptors (AChRs). The position of intramuscular axons (green), the branching of nerve terminals (yellow), and the pattern of AChRs (red) are similar in src-/-, fyn-/-, and wild-type embryos. For details, see the article by Smith et al. in this issue (pages 3151-3160).
