Cover picture: Confocal images of triple-stained cocultures of Schwann cells and dorsal root ganglion neurons show early stages of axon-glia interaction. N-cadherin accumulation at axon-Schwann cell contact sites and specific function blocking data demonstrate that N-cadherin mediates axon-aligned Schwann cell process growth. Schwann cells were vitally stained with cell tracker (green); immunostaining was performed using mouse monoclonal anti-N-cadherin and Cy3 (red) and rabbit polyclonal anti-neurofilament medium (Cy5, blue) to label axons.
