Cover picture: The protein Reg-2 is expressed by dorsal root ganglion (DRG) cells after nerve injury. At 7 d after injury, expression occurs predominantly in medium- to large-diameter neurons. At this same time point, many of these neurons also upregulate to neuropeptide, neuropeptide Y (NPY). The cover image shows DRG cells stained for Reg-2 (green) and NPY (red). Some cells are single labeled and some are double labeled (yellow), indicative of the coexistence of NPY and Reg-2. For details, see the article by Averill et al. in this issue (pages 7493-7501).
