About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover picture: Enantioselective projection (output) neurons in the antennal (olfactory) lobe of the female moth Manduca sexta. Projection neurons with arborizations in the glomerulus depicted in green respond preferentially to (+)linalool, whereas those with arborizations in the glomerulus shown in red respond preferentially to (–)linalool. The cover shows a three-dimensional reconstruction of antennal lobe glomeruli and pictures of two projection neurons with opposite enantioselectivity. For details, see the article by Reisenman et al. in this issue (pages 2602-2611).
