Cover picture: A color-coded map of visual space in the mouse superior colliculus (SC). It was obtained by mapping visually evoked activity from the surface of the SC by intrinsic signal imaging. The color of each patch corresponds to the position of a visual stimulus in the contralateral visual field that evoked the strongest response in that region of the SC.
