About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover legend: Immunofluorescense double labeling of GABA-like immunoreactive neurons (in yellow) and synapsin-stained neuropil (in magenta) in the peduncle of the honyebee mushroom bodies. A 3D reconstruction of an extrinsinc neuron, originating in the protocerebral lobe, Pe1 neuron (green) is superimposed. It reveals numerous fine finger-like arborizations that stand in close contact to the GABA-immune reactive profiles.
