  • Extracts of striatal tissue from 7 young and 13 aged Long–Evans rats were immunoblotted and screened for reactivity with antibodies to the indicated proteins. Linear regression was used to obtain ther values for correlations between protein levels and between protein levels and the learning index. The top of the table contains analyses with all 20 subjects; the bottom of the table contains analyses of the aged cohort only (n = 13). Level of significance: *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.001.
