  • Neuron numbers (mean ± SEM) of sensory ganglia and motor nuclei were counted in P0.5 mouse heads and spinal cords of wild-type, BDNF−/−, NT-3−/−, and BDNF/NT-3 double knockout (DKO) mice. Reductions were present in all mutant sensory ganglia, whereas motor nuclei showed no significant (NS) difference. Mann–Whitney rank sum test determined the significance levels. ND, Not determined.
