The indicated concentrations of sulpiride were added to HT22 cells. After 24 hr, cell viability was determined by trypan blue exclusion method and cell counting. In a parallel experiment, MTT reduction was measured. All data were normalized to control values of 100. Trypan blue exclusion data were the means ± SEM of five determinations. MTT data are presented as the means ± SEM for quadruplicate determination. A p < 0.025 versus all other treatment conditions could be found only at a concentration of 200 μm sulpiride.
