All solutions contained 10 mm HEPES. The pH was adjusted to 7.2 with NMDGOH, and osmotic pressure was 360 mosmol/L. Free Ca2+ concentrations were calculated with WebmaxC Standard (http://www.stanford.edu/∼cpatton/webmaxc/webmaxcS.htm).
