Cultures (28 DIV) were frozen immediately after 30 min exposure to high K+ (90 mm KCl, 1 μm Bay K-8644 in 10 mm Ca2+ HBSS) in the presence of 20 μm MK-801, 10 μm CNQX, or to 100 μm NMDA in Mg-free HBSS in the presence of 10 μm nimodipine. Data are given as mean ± SEM in mmol/kg dry weight. The number of neurons analyzed was 10–15 for each condition. n is the number of analyses.
