Abstract
The authors of “The Neurotrophic Effects of Fibroblast Growth Factors on Dopaminergic Neurons in vitro Are Mediated by Mesencephalic Glia” (J. Engele and M.C. Bohn, J Neurosci 11:3070–3078) wish to correct an error in that paper. Treatment of mesencephalic cultures with aFGF or bFGF does not increase the survival of tyrosine hydroxylase-immunoreactive neurons by 190–210%, as reported in line 16 of the abstract, but by 90–110%. The authors regret this error.
