In the article “Intra-Amygdala Blockade of the NR2B Subunit of the NMDA Receptor Disrupts the Acquisition But Not the Expression of Fear Conditioning,” by Sarina M. Rodrigues, Glenn E. Schafe, and Joseph E. LeDoux, which appeared on pages 6889–6896 of the September 1, 2001 issue, the text callouts for the reference by Rostas et al. (1996) appearing in the third paragraph of the introductory remarks and in the sixth paragraph of the Discussion erroneously refer to the first author as Rostras. In addition, this reference was not cited in the reference list. The correct reference information is as follows: Rostas JA, Brent VA, Voss K, Errington ML, Bliss TV, Gurd JW (1996) Enhanced tyrosine phosphorylation of the 2B subunit of theN-methyl-d-aspartate receptor in long-term potentiation. Proc Natl Acad Sci USA 93:10452–10456. The authors apologize to the editors, referees, and readers of The Journal of Neuroscience for these errors and any confusion that they may have caused.
