Cover legend: KCNQ potassium ion channels are localized at the nodes of Ranvier. The cover image shows teased nerve fibers, immunolabeled for juxtaparanodal Kv1 channels (green) and nodal KCNQ channels (red). KCNQ2 and KCNQ3 are precisely colocalized with voltage-gated sodium channels at both the axonal initial segments and nodes.
