GFP fluorescence is pseudocolored green; anti-SOM (A, B), anti-PV (C, D), anti-CB (E, F), and anti-NPY (G, H) immunoreactivity is pseudocolored red. Note that in both lines, all GFP+ neurons were SOM+ and PV−, but only X98 cells were CB+ (all) and NPY+ (some). The yellow seen in C represents overlap in the z-dimension between red-labeled SOM+ cell bodies and green-labeled GFP+ processes, not colocalization of the two labels.
