About the Cover

Cover legend: Molecular layer inhibitory network in the cerebellar cortex is organized in parasagittal bands, and the banding pattern is structural. The superimposed image shows the similarity in the spacing and orientation of off-beam inhibition in Crus II in five mice. The on-beam increase in fluorescence evoked by parallel fiber stimulation is depicted in gray scale, whereas the off-beam bands of decreases in fluorescence were thresholded and pseudocolored using different colors. The black regions are the overlap in the off-beam inhibitory bands in the different mice. For more information, see the article by Gao et al. in this issue (pages 8377–8387).
