In the article “A Role for the Eph Ligand Ephrin-A3 in Entorhino-Hippocampal Axon Targeting” by Eckart Stein, Nicolai E. Savaskan, Olaf Ninnemann, Robert Nitsch, Renping Zhou, and Thomas Skutella, which appeared on pages 8885–8893 of the October 15, 1999 issue, the error bars in Figure 5 and Figure 6B of this article were incorrectly reported to be standard errors of the means. The bars shown represent one standard deviation for each distribution. The stated statistical significance and the conclusions of the report are unaffected by this mistake.
