About the Cover

Cover legend: Cultured rat hippocampal neurons (18 days in vitro) that were treated with glutamate for 15 min, then stained for PSD-95 (red), CTTNBP2 (blue), and F-actin (green). Glutamate causes an NMDA receptor-dependent redistribution of F-actin from dendritic spines to a bundled pattern within dendrites; in contrast, PSD-95 and CTTNBP2 stably reside in dendritic spines.
