Cover legend: Brain lobes immunostained against endogenous fasciclin II from first instar larva of Drosophila melanogaster. In wild-type (right) brains fasciclin II is excluded from the dendrites (calyx) of neurons in the mushroom body (MB), a brain structure involved in learning and memory. In larval brains in which a dominant-negative mutant form of dynamin is overexpressed in MB neurons (left), dendritic mislocalization of fasciclin II is clearly visible.
